More Than Quirky

These terms & conditions apply to our service of providing advice and support (Services) including, but not limited to packages (Package), conversations (Meeting), customised written feedback (Report); and online content at https://www.morethanquirky.com.au (Website), owned by Jennifer Ava Goodwin trading as More Than Quirky (ABN 76 412 783 915) (MTQ). More Than Quirky maintains the Website and booking system (Booking). More Than Quirky maintains sole discretion whether to accept an application for services.
Terms & Conditions apply to users of the Website (Reader), paying members with access to exclusive content (Member), and paying users of Packages and/or Services (Client).
1. Contract
a. By Booking the services of MTQ and making payment you are offering to make a contract with More Than Quirky. By confirming location of this booking MTQ has accepted the contact (Contract). The terms & conditions that apply to your Contract and Package are set out in these Terms & Conditions
b. The Contract Period:
i. begins on the original date of the Meeting as set in the Booking system
ii. continues until such time as the Client requests Contract end, Termination occurs, or More Than Quirky ceases business (see 3)
c. Contract Amendment may occur with reference to the following:
i. More Than Quirky has the discretion to vary these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice. These changes will be effective as soon as they have been posted on the Website.
ii. It is the responsibility of the Client to check the Terms & Conditions periodically to observe any changes. Continued use of the Website after any amendments indicates acceptance of the new Terms & Conditions by the Client.
2. Provision of Services
a. More Than Quirky is responsible for the offering of location for Meeting, attending Meeting, provision of Report, provision of links for next Bookings, and attending any further Bookings.
b. Client is responsible for payment at time of – and finalisation of – Booking, confirming meeting location, attending Meeting, and making further Bookings if desired.
c. More Than Quirky reserves the right to terminate the provision of services to a Client at any time, in its sole discretion, without any liability to MTQ or Jennifer Ava Goodwin.
3. Termination and Cancellation
a. This Contract may be terminated in the following ways:
i. At any time if the Client chooses to cancel their engagement by emailing info@morethanquirky.com.au. No refunds will be given.
ii. By More Than Quirky if:
1. The Client fails to comply with any of the Terms & Conditions as set out in this document
2. More Than Quirky is obliged to report the Client or their child under NSW Mandatory Reporting Legislation
3. If a Reader or Client repeatedly contravenes the Terms & Conditions in this document including, but not limited to, the Inclusion Policy (see 15)
b. More Than Quirky may terminate this contract and all obligations to a Client; from termination MTQ ceases to have any obligation to supply services to the Client.
c. More Than Quirky will not grant a refund on services with the exception of Packages clauses (see 9)
4. Liability and Indemnity
a. The Client indemnifies More Than Quirky against any claim by any third party against MTQ in respect of any matter arising from the services provided by MTQ, or the transfer of data or money to and from MTQ by the Client.
b. The Client indemnifies More Than Quirky for any loss or damage including indirect or consequential loss or damage regardless of its cause including negligence and tort arising out of or in any way connected with the supply of or failure to supply the Service, a payment method in an agreement, and/or any inaccuracy, inadequacy or incompleteness of information contained in a Meeting, Report, or on the Website, any of MTQ’s printed material, or belonging to third parties or third party resources recommended by MTQ.
5. Intellectual Property
a. Intellectual property included in Reports and on the Website belongs to More Than Quirky. The Client obtains no interest in the intellectual property. The Client may not do anything which interferes with or breaches those intellectual property rights.
b. Excepting fair dealing permitted by the Copyright Act 1968, MTQ grants The Client permission only to download copyright material for personal and private purposes, and not to sue the content of the Website for any other way or for any other purpose.
6. General Notices
a. Any notice to be served to More Than Quirky under this Contract must be served by email to info@morethanquirky.com.au or post to an address to be provided upon request by email to info@morethanquirky.com.au
b. If any part of these Terms & Conditions are unenforceable the remainder will not be affected
c. All correspondence on the Website, in Meetings, and all online and telephone activities in relation to More Than Quirky are made and concluded in New South Wales, Australia. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state of New South Wales. The parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts exercising jurisdiction in New South Wales.
7. Prices
a. The prices for Services are set out on the Website. More Than Quirky reserves the right to change the prices and Packages at any time on the Website. These changes will take effect immediately. These changes will only apply to the Client if and when the Client purchases a new Package or Service.
8. Payment
a. The Client will be charged the amount payable for the Service or Package upon Booking said Service or Package.
b. The Client must pay all fees and charges by PayPal to secure Booking and thus enter Contract for Service.
c. The fees and charges listed are exclusive of GST. If and when GST is payable this will be reflected on the Website and Booking system. The Client agrees to pay GST when GST is charged.
d. More Than Quirky accepts payment via PayPal, as per the Booking system on the Website
e. If required by payment arrangements agreed between More Than Quirky and the Client, the Client must maintain sufficient funds in the relevant account to cover fees and charges payable to MTQ as and when they are due.
f. The Client will not pursue a PayPal chargeback without first entering into communication with More Than Quirky by email to info@morethanquirky.com.au unless failing to receive a response to said email within 14 days. MTQ takes no responsibility for emails not received due to errors or typos by the Client.
9. Packages
a. More Than Quirky Guidance Package
i. Cancellations within 24 hours of any Meeting will incur a 100% cancellation fee. Cancellations earlier than 24 hours before the Foundation Session will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations earlier than 48 hours before the Foundation Session will incur a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations must be made in writing to info@admin
ii. Refunds will not be given in the event of non-attendance by the Client.
iii. Foundation Sessions can be rescheduled at no additional cost up to 96 hours (4 days) before Meeting.
iv. Booking pertains to client only. Client may bring other people to Meeting with advance permission.
v. Client is to determine whether Meeting is in-person on Sydney’s Upper North Shore, or via online videocall.
vi. Location of in-person Foundation Session will be provided within 24 hours of receiving payment, and is at the discretion of More Than Quirky; the Client may decline suggested in-person location and request second option. Zoom details for online Foundation Session will be provided the day before Meeting.
vii. More Than Quirky AND Clients are not permitted to record (directly or indirectly), transmit, or distribute the Foundation Session without express written permission in advance of recording or transmission. Any recording of the Foundation Session is unauthorised and constitutes a violation of the Surveillance Devices Act 2007 (NSW).
viii. Insight & Empowerment Report will be provided as a web link. More Than Quirky takes no responsibility for emails not received due to errors or typos by the Client.
ix. Client should check junk mail / spam folders and contact info@morethanquirky.com.au in the event that Meeting details are not received.
x. Insight & Empowerment Report will be available for a minimum of 6 months online. A PDF of the Insight & Empowerment Report will be provided upon request. The Client may make one (1) request asking PDF to be amended to omit particular sections for the purpose of sharing information about the Client’s child; More Than Quirky reserves the right to only remove sections in full to protect the accuracy of information
xi. More Than Quirky will provide a link to provide Client access to Booking of up to (but not exceeding) four (4) Reach-Out Calls of up to approximately 15 minutes, for the Client use of asking questions, clarifying information, requesting suggestions, or providing feedback. These Reach-Out Calls are optional to Client, and must be used in full within 12 months of provision of link or forfeited without refund.
xii. More Than Quirky will email the Client a Wellbeing Check-In at least three (3) times following provision of Report, to encourage Client questions and feedback. More Than Quirky will contact the client at intervals of a maximum of 6 weeks.
xiii. Between six (6) and twelve (12) months after Foundation Session, More Than Quirky will contact the Client via email to offer an optional Reflection Session, including link to online survey, and offer of Meeting for approximately 30 minutes via online videocall or in person on Sydney’s Upper North Shore.
10. Newsletter
a. Newsletter will be provided as an email on a monthly basis. More Than Quirky takes no responsibility for emails not received due to errors or typos by the Client.
b. Client should check junk mail / spam folders and contact info@morethanquirky.com.au in the event that Newsletter is not received.
11. Membership
a. Access to the Membership section(s) of the Website is provided for the registered individual (Member) only. Access details are unique to the Member and cannot be shared. Sharing access details will compromise the Member’s access to the platform and the Member’s registration may be cancelled. The Member will not be eligible for a refund.
12. Mandatory Reporting
a. More Than Quirky maintains the right to:
i. Disclose information contained in any and all communications between The Client and More Than Quirky, concerning that person to the NSW Department of Communities & Justice and/or Child Protection Hotline if MTQ has formed a reasonable belief that a child aged 0-15 has suffered or is likely to suffer significant harm as a result of abuse or neglect.
ii. Disclose this information to solicitors, or the NSW Police, in the event of further investigations in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
13. Disclaimer
a. The conversations held with, and content and reports written by More Than Quirky represent the opinions of Jennifer Ava Goodwin, based on tertiary qualifications and lived experience. The content should not be taken as medical or legal advice. This content is provided for informational purposes only. Please consult your healthcare professional for any medical question
b. While More Than Quirky’s makes every effort to ensure that the information shared is accurate, neuroaffirming, and informed, MTQ welcome any comments, suggestions, or corrections of errors. Please provide these by emailing info@morethanquirky.com.au

The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement of that site by MTQ. g. Embedded content from external websites are provided for the convenience of Readers and Clients and are not under the control of More Than Quirky. h. Where More Than Quirky allows for comments by Readers to be posted on the Website, MTQ will moderate submissions but will not necessarily check background or network of Readers submitting comments. Allowing publication of Reader comments does not imply endorsement by North Shore Mums of the information, person, related organisation or business, or products or services provided by that Reader.
i. Jennifer Ava Goodwin does not receive any money or incentive from third parties to recommend their practice, product, or services. More Than Quirky does not receive any money or incentive from third parties to recommend their practice, product, or services.
j. This website is owned by Jennifer Ava Goodwin trading as More Than Quirky.
14. Terms of Use
a. As a condition of your use of this Website and related Services, the Reader and Client agree that they will not use this Website or Services in a way that:
i. is defamatory, abusive, harassing, or hateful
ii. includes abusive, obscene, indecent, offensive, or hateful language
iii. endorses commercial products or activities, or solicits business, without prior permission
iv. violates copyright, licences, or consents
v. invades anyone’s privacy
vi. reveals the identity or personal information of another Client or Reader
vii. impersonates another person or entity
viii. encourages conduct that may or would constitute a criminal offence or give rise to civil liability, or that otherwise violates any state, federal, or international law or regulation
15. Inclusion Policy
a. More Than Quirky believes diversity and inclusion are requisite
b. All people are welcome as Readers and Clients of More Than Quirky provided they abide to Terms & Conditions as set out in this document
c. More Than Quirky aspires for Readers and Clients to be a diverse collection of people of all neurotypes, ethnicities, cultures, religions, beliefs, disabilities, gender identities, sexual orientations, ages, locations, and backgrounds
d. More Than Quirky encourages authenticity and aspires to accommodate the needs and differences of all Clients and Readers
e. Jennifer Ava Goodwin acknowledges the Dharug and Guringai people, Traditional Custodians of the land on which I work, and pay my respect to their Elders past, present, and emerging. I also extend specific acknowledgement and respect to the Kamilaroi people on whose land I was raised, and by whom I was educated about First Nations culture. I extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
f. More Than Quirky is a safe place for LGBTQIA+ people and their allies
g. All voices and opinions are valued; those with lived-experience of neurodivergence, and neuroaffirming perspectives, are held in high esteem
h. Collaboration, empathy, accommodation, and a desire to understand are key to the More Than Quirky business and community. MTQ, and all Readers and Clients are expected to behave in a way that is:
i. Respectful
ii. Accepting of differences in tone and communication preferences, whilst aspiring to be mindful of impact of tone on others and using tools such as Emojis to assist understanding; consider face-to-face meetings or video calls to prevent or repair misinterpretation of written content
iii. Supportive, empathetic, or respectfully curious, in relation to differences with Readers, Clients or More Than Quirky
iv. Clear by avoiding excessive use of non-inclusive language (such as “in jokes”), and be open to explaining acronyms, argot, idioms, or misunderstood communication
v. Constructive and informative rather than critical, but offers feedback if perceived errors or room for improvement is observed
vi. Kind, polite, helpful, encouraging, supportive, and generous
vii. Conducive to learning
viii. Responsible for self when acknowledging mistakes or errors made
ix. Mindful of others, and avoidance of conflict; Readers and Clients do not need to engage if a topic is not something they are comfortable with, or they are unable to respond without contravening the Terms & Conditions in this document
i. Readers and Clients of More Than Quirky have the right to feel safe. Readers and Clients agree to:
i. Not privately contact other Readers or Clients without previously obtained permission; Readers and Clients can directly contact More Than Quirky to request this
ii. Not bully or harass Readers, Clients, or More Than Quirky using means including, but not limited to:
1. Negative or offensive words or comments regarding neurotypes (including neurotypicality), neurodivergence, or neurodivergent people
2. Negative or offensive words or comments regarding disabilities, or people with disabilities
3. Sexist or misogynist comments
4. Homophobic or transphobic words or comments
5. Deliberate mis-gendering
6. Racism, ethnic slurs, or negative/offensive words regarding culture or religion
7. Discrimination or negative comments regarding age or family role
16. Privacy Policy
a. More Than Quirky follows the Privacy Policy (Privacy Policy) that can be found here, in relation to the collection, use, and disclosure of any personal information
b. All Website users including Readers and Clients are informed that More Than Quirky’s Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information is set out in the Privacy Policy
c. The provision of personal information indicates you agree to the commitments made in the Privacy Policy
